A Christian, Constitutional, Conservative Republican

Rick Brattin looks to Scripture, the Constitution, and the commonsense, conservative values of this
district to inform his votes. He is a proud member of the National Rifle Association, a dedicated member
of Abundant Life Church, and a strong believer that life begins at conception and must be protected.

A Record of Service

A six-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Rick Brattin is dedicated to public service. To him, elected
office is not a career – it is a way to give back to the community.

Small Business Know-How

Rick is a small businessman who has brought a business-minded perspective to the State Senate. He
knows that excessive government stands in the way of prosperity, and he will fight for lower taxes, less
regulation, and smaller government.

Standing Against Interest Groups

Rick believes that special interest groups have too much power in Jefferson City, and he is not afraid to
stand up to them. “Politics as usual” has done nothing to help our state, and Rick will work to break
through special interest gridlock and ensure high-priority conservative legislation moves forward.

Supporting Lower Taxes and Fewer Government Handouts

Rick Brattin has fought hard for lower taxes, working to reduce the income tax rate for Missourians
while closing special interest loopholes. He has also worked to oppose efforts that would allow the
government to pick winners and losers using tax breaks and taxpayer-funded handouts.

Standing Up to China

Rick believes that too many family-supporting manufacturing jobs have been shipped to China, and he
will work to make sure Missouri adopts policies that will help bring these jobs back, giving American
workers more opportunities to get jobs while increasing our national security.
Rick has also supported efforts to prevent Chinese companies from buying any more land in Missouri to
protect family farmers and agribusinesses from foreign interference.
