Rick Brattin will Fight for Our Conservative Values

In Congress, Rick will not accept the status quo. Career politicians beholden to special interests have failed us. He’s running to defend our faith, our families, and our freedoms and to bring the same conservative fight he’s led in Jefferson City to the halls of Washington.

A Fighter for President Trump

Rick has a strong record of sponsoring legislation to advance President Trump’s goal to Make America Great Again.  In Congress, he will be a strong ally for the administration.

Defend the Second Amendment

A proud NRA member, Rick has a proven record of protecting our Second Amendment rights in Missouri. He helped craft legislation that made the state’s constitutional protections for the Second Amendment among the strongest in the nation, filed bills to prevent government entities from contracting with companies that discriminate against firearms manufacturers, and voted in favor of the Second Amendment Preservation Act. In Congress, he’ll bring that same fight to the national level and stand firm against any attempt to infringe on our God-given right to keep and bear arms.

Protect the Right to Life

Endorsed by Missouri Right to Life in every legislative race he’s run, Rick is 100% pro-life with a consistent record to prove it. He voted to extend the state’s 24-hour abortion waiting period to 72 hours and backed a bill requiring parents of minors considering an abortion to receive five days’ notice. In Congress, he’ll fight hard to defund Planned Parenthood and protect our most vulnerable citizens, the unborn.

Secure the Border & Support ICE

Standing with President Trump and our brave ICE agents, Rick is committed to securing America’s borders and enforcing our immigration laws. In the Missouri legislature, he sponsored legislation imposing real penalties on companies that hire people under the table without checking immigration status and fought to ban sanctuary cities. In Congress, he’ll back President Trump’s efforts to build the wall, fully fund ICE, deport criminal illegal aliens, and end the policies that have encouraged the flood of illegal immigration into our communities.

Make Life More Affordable

Missouri families have been squeezed by skyrocketing costs for groceries, gas, and everyday essentials. Rick supports President Trump’s agenda to bring down costs and get our economy roaring again – by cutting taxes, slashing regulations, and unleashing American energy. With a proven record of opposing tax hikes in the Missouri legislature and fighting for legislation to place real limits on property taxes, he’ll fight in Congress against reckless spending that drives up our national debt and fuels inflation, working to put more money back in the pockets of hardworking Missourians.

Stand Up to China

From unleashing a global pandemic to stealing America’s intellectual property, China is one of the biggest threats to our way of life. Rick has already taken action in the Missouri Senate, filing legislation to ban foreign ownership of land near military installations and sensitive defense manufacturing sites. He also voted against a bill that would have subsidized a Chinese air cargo hub at the St. Louis airport. In Congress, he’ll hold China accountable and work to reduce our dependence on Chinese goods.

Get the Woke Agenda Out of Our Government & Schools

As Chairman of the Senate Education Committee, Rick has seen firsthand how divisive woke programs waste taxpayer dollars and divide Americans by race and gender instead of uniting us. He supports President Trump’s efforts to root out wokeism from the federal government.  Rick will fight to ensure our schools focus on teaching children how to think, not indoctrinating them with a radical political agenda. He has routinely sponsored legislation to ensure parents have the right to oversee how their children are educated, and he also sponsored legislation to keep pornographic books out of school libraries. In Congress, he’ll work to defund woke programs across the federal government and protect hardworking Americans from ideological discrimination.
